Who can order MetroCards in bulk?

The MetroCard Bulk Sales Program is for local businesses, groups traveling to NYC, and one-off events. If you plan on ordering MetroCards on a regular basis or reselling them, visit https://new.mta.info/doing-business-with-us/metrocard-retailer or contact MetroCardMerchantSales@nyct.com.

How many MetroCards do I have to order?

There is a 50-MetroCard minimum order. You can mix and match between Pay-Per-Ride and Unlimited Ride MetroCards to reach the 50-card minimum.
 

How are the MetroCards shipped?

MetroCards are shipped via UPS Next Day Air (it will take up to six days for processing). Note that the UPS Next Day Air shipping cost is based on weight and region.
 

How long will it take to get my order?

Orders can take up to six days from the time it submitted until delivery.
 

Is Bulk Sales the same as Merchant Sales?

No, they are different programs. If you are an existing MetroCard Merchant, please send your inquiry to MetroCardMerchantSales@nyct.com
 

Can I get a discount for my non-profit organization?

Unfortunately, there are no discounts available through the MetroCard Bulk Sales program.
 

What are my payment options?

You may safely buy Bulk Sales MetroCards with your AMEX, MasterCard, or Visa credit cards. Debit cards are accepted if they are not PIN-only.
 

Can I receive a refund on lost, damaged, or unused MetroCards?

Unfortunately, we do not provide refunds for Bulks Sales transactions (for terms and conditions, visit https://bulkmetrocard.mta.info/pages/metrocard-bulk-sales-agreement-terms). If your MetroCard is damaged, visit https://efixmetrocard.mtanyct.info/PublicMain.aspx.
 

How do I check the status of my order?

You will receive order and shipping confirmations via text or email.
